About the Triangle UXPA

The Triangle UXPA was founded in 2006 and is the North Carolina Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association. We are focused on building and supporting the local community of practitioners who craft great user experiences — which include interaction designers, visual designers, information architects, content strategists, and user researchers.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of corporate sponsors and academic advisors in the Triangle region. The Board sets direction, provides feedback, and helps keep Triangle UXPA aligned to the needs of the Triangle UX community.

Mission

TriUXPA will build a community for established and aspiring UX professionals by

facilitating the delivery of training, knowledge sharing, and career development opportunities,
working internally to ensure continuity and maintain an organization that is financially sound,
and by partnering with sponsors, members, and external organizations

in a spirit of connection, collaboration, inclusion, and mutual support.

Events

The core activity of Triangle UXPA is holding great events to bring people in the community together, and disseminate information and practices related to user experience work. Events include:
